I Already Looked Through The US Sales For You And Found The Best From Net-a-Porter To H&M!

Allgemein, fashion, humor, shopping

Lets pretend we are all stated in the US and our sale period already started. I used to think that this was true injustice and unfair, since our lovely friends from overseas had the chance to roll around  in the latest stuff prior to us, but soon have realized that this also conveys another meaning and chance for us. Lets see what the others get and learn out of it. Me, as a practitioner of Manrepeller religion, can’t wait to find the new articles of Leandra and Amelia of what to get and what not to. Not that one should focus on them, but their hints and argumentations are not-not necessary. As an inhabitant of a city with no sea (we do have a lower humidity level though) we all face the same fate. How is it possible to a) feel good; b) look good and c) look like one desires and not what the weather predetermines? I tell you, its way easier than one thinks.

Advice No.1: Get an oversize blazer

The good thing here is, that you won’t need much else. Just a blouse underneath and maybe something teeny tiny to keep your buttom safe.

Advice No.2: Get a long skirt

Easily worn with the most lousy shirt you own. Since the skirt is here the main piece here, you should try to step down a little with wearing a basic tee or equally good, your favorite Looney Tunes character.

Advice No.3: Get a versatile dress

I guess one should always try to find dresses, that can also be worn with something beneath or with a jacket over it. The best option would be of course some kind of kaftan, but unfortunately its really hard to find some good ones, that don’t make you feel like your coming straight out of  Ibiza. These all still are kind of ok-priced, but there are enough options at the highstreet brands too.

At last i’ll put some of my fav’s highstreet options and links down below:

( from top left to right) Blazer H&M beige linen blazer, Blazer Zara metallic blazer, Blazer Zara coloured stitched blazer, ZenicaDress Sportmax Code, Web Dress Weekday beige web maxi dress, Satin Dress Bershka partly ruffled rosé satin dress, Black Dress Topshop Style Mafia puff sleeve midi shift dress, Striped Skirt Topshop , Patchwork Skirt Zara plissé patchwork skirt, Checked Skirt Zara

3 Outfit Ideas To (still) Wear with a Turtleneck!

Allgemein

I can’t recall, when my deep dissatisfaction with scarves started. It must have been winter obviously and i probably must have been sick with tieing them around my neck plus making me look like i was a michelin man (not having a problem with looking like a michelin man in general). Its pretty tough to dress properly and not in jeans and sweaters constantly in winter, but adding a scarf to the already trash outfit didn’t make it any better. But how does one keep oneself warm and still look OK? Like the unexpected headline predicted. Turtlenecks!

Its scary how often i wear turtlenecks indeed. A non-qualified statistical review of mine confirmed that its about 90 percent. So apparently i needed to share my deep wisdom with the world and show you some ways to try!

Blinded by Bomber jackets

Allgemein

It all started with some Hooligans in England, was adopted by the Punks and now we see every other girl or boy wearing them. Its the bomber jacket. The great part about them is, that you can wear them to every style. The one that appears the most, must be the casual style. Wearing some Jeggins, sneakers and a bomber over it. And no offense at all! It looks super cool and comfy. But when you don’t like seeing others with your clothes on, you might not want to wear bomber jackets that way anymore.
Gucci had some sequined silky ones and ultra metallic ones, in their last show, which i guess all of us know thanks to social media.

I really like what Alessandro Michelle did here, even if some people think he just copied the Tennenbaums. I just do not like these silky blousons too much with the japanese prints or other flower like looking prints. I did wear these kind of blousons like 3 years ago? From h&m i guess. So not that revolutionary for me. But still good-looking.
These are the more ladylike versions of the „bomber“, i personally like the original version best. Wearing a navy or khaki bomber over a blazer, or girly dress can make your look go from a 24 to 1000000. Here have some inspos.

Good options here are the Alpha Industries Ma-1 Jacket, which is a all time basic.
But many many designers do have bomber jacket models right now. Philipp Lim had a very cool one, and so many more that i don’t even know.

This one here is my personal favorite, just waiting for it to get in stock again.
Haven’t seen anybody with this one before. Its just an advice, but don’t get the khaki one.

Alphabetically, after the babouche comes the ballerina

Allgemein

After the long lasting sneaker trend, which was the only possible wear of flat shoes for the past decade, we now have something a lot more sophisticated. Which i am personally a big fan of ( never wear sneakers, they got nice colors though).
I know many of you might remember them from the fifth grade gym classes, but now that we are a bit older, they somehow look differently.
If you are totally up to date, you will buy some with an elastic band and a little heel.
I think they occurred first to the ss 15 shows at Céline, but designers like Maryam Nassir Zadeh and Martiniano did already have good ones too.
I failed at buying my dream ballerinas at Cos last season, but now that they are (almost) mainstream, you can find them almost everywhere. I love the clean look they create, just like you tidied up yourself.
The nicest and most affordable ones are in the slideshow below, but I am still not sure whether or not to invest in a good designer pair, do you think its worth it?..
